.why are most of your photos untitled?.

I have never considered a title to be of great importance. A photograph should stand alone. If the photographer has succeeded, additional explanation is not be needed. When I do add a title I try and keep it very short. I never title nude studies, beyond, perhaps, the first name of the model.

.what type of equipment do you use?.

  Nikon D200 / Nikon 18-200 VR II
  Nikon D80 / Sigma 10-20
  Nikon D70 / Nikon 105 Micro

  Nikon N65 / Nikon 28-100
  Holga 120S
  Frauka Rolfix, Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar 105 f4.5 120S
  Diana

.what film do you use?.

Kodak High Speed Infrared b/w (processed in Kodak D-76 1:1)
  Kodak BW400CN Professional
  Kodak Tri-X 400 (processed in Kodak HC-110, 'B')
  Ilford XP-2 b/w

.why don't you include technical data?.

"For technical data: the camera was faithfully used." --Minor White

.what is your opinion of film vs. digital.

I see a camera, whether loaded with silver based film, a memory card or a glass wet-plate, as a means to an end. I don't believe it matters how the image was brought to life; only that it exists. When I stood before the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel I did not form an opinion of the work based on the type of brush used to create it.

.do you use filters?.

I use 25A red filters with infrared film and occasionally with other black & white film. I use a polarizer with almost all color film and digital applications.
